ABOUT THE KICKSTARTER:
Bike Thief is a six piece Indie Rock band from Portland, OR. We make music that is gripping and lush with soaring melodies which invokes feelings of nostalgia, hope and empathy. Bike Thief is Febian Perez, Gregory Allen, Charles Barker, Brandon Elhaj, Dylan McGown and Christopher Valentine. We have spent over half a year writing songs for "Blessed Are the Sleepy Ones," and we need your help to pay for the costs of recording, mixing and mastering.
Since we've released our debut EP "Ghost of Providence", we have grown in numerous ways: as individuals, as a collective, as musicians and as friends. We have all invested long hours, hard-earned money, and gracious love into our band. In the last year, we toured to Austin to take part in several Unofficial SXSW showcases, and played at some of the premier venues in Portland with many of our favorite local bands. We are very grateful for all the opportunities we've had so far and look forward to the possibilities that creating this album will bring us.
The money earned from this Kickstarter goes directly to the costs of recording, mixing and mastering the album. We cannot do this without the help of our beloved fans, friends, family and kind strangers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
